General Questions

Where are your premises?
We do not have premises, we are a mobile company. Our vans carry all the required equipment onboard so we can come to you.

 

What is Paint Correction/Swirl removal ?

Most vehicles suffer from paintwork defects which are visible in direct light, microscopic scratches in the clear coat of the paintwork are the main cause for swirl marks. Machine polishing the clear coat of your cars Paintwork will remove 1 or 2 microns of paint so that it is perfectly level again and will reflect light perfectly. Once the paintwork is defect free this means the paintwork can look it’s best – High gloss and deep reflections.

Why does a Valet/Detail take so long?
Because we want to do the job in full. We don’t just exceed our customers’ expectations but we always maintain Steve's Cleenz’ own standards. Remember, we aim for 100% customer satisfaction.

How long will it take for the seats and carpets to fully dry after they have been shampooed?
During the winter season it can take up to half a day. In the summer season, drying time can be around 1 to 3 hours.

Do you need access to water or any electrical power points when you wash/valet my vehicle?
NO. Our vans have everything onboard to carry out a complete valet. But when taking out a Detail treatment with us we will the use of a plug socket.

I have tried everything on my alloy wheels but cannot get rid of the brake dust and dirt. Can you help?
At Steve's Cleenz our specialty is getting your car's wheels spotless. The alloy wheel cleaner we use is very effective when combined with our powerful jet wash. This will get rid of all the excess dirt on the alloy wheels, leaving them immaculate.

I was driving my car past road works which has left road tar stuck to my car. Can you remove this?
Yes, we have the right cleaning products which will remove road tar from your vehicle.

My car is brand new, what are the benefits?

When a brand new car is delivered to a customer the vehicle has already been through a lot, transport to the dealer and then it has had there in house "valeters" prepare the car using basic car washing skills causing paintwork defects and low levels of gloss. we at Steve's Cleenz have detailed many brand new cars and meaning that the new car is protected and looking better than it came out the showroom.

Booking a Valet/Detail

How much notice is needed to book a valet?
From 1 hour to 1 day. It really depends on how busy we are. We would advise you to book well in advance if you would like a Valet/Detail done.

Can you clean my car while I am at work?
Yes, as we are a mobile service we can come to your place of work to valet your car.
